Discipline Policy

In 5th grade, much like at Lakeview, every single student is expected to fully understand what it takes to be successful at Negaunee Middle School. Traits of success including respect, responsibility, and safety are familiar for many students from their younger years, but their importance increases even more the older we get.

If a student seems to have trouble following our basic rules, he or she may receive a behavior notice that must be signed and returned the following day. Please see our basic expectations below, and I encourage you to check out a copy of our behavior notice attached at the bottom of this page.
