College Board Opportunity Scholarship (This scholarship opportunity primarily begins at 11th grade.)
Applying to college is a complicated process, so we've created a program that guides you through it. It doesn't require an essay, application, or minimum GPA. Instead, it rewards your effort and initiative. Complete key steps along your path to college for a chance to earn scholarships. The more effort you put in, the more opportunities you have to earn a scholarship. Complete all six, and you're eligible to earn $40,000. Scholarships will be awarded through monthly drawings to students who complete each action. Visit cb.org/opportunity to learn more and start earning scholarships!

Upper Peninsula High School senior
Proof of enrollment to a 2- or 4-year college/trade school in the UP
Must major in a program relating to RESIDENTIAL construction. See application for more detail.
Requires two letters of reference and an essay
