February: Hey guys! Let's take some time and get settled into our first project - the Financial Planning Project! Here's the details below, as well as a rubric for a 5 paragraph essay.
Due 2/12 or 2/14: Rough Draft
Due 2/26 or 2/28: Final Draft
January: Welcome to Current life! This month we have some nuts and bolts stuff to get out of the way. Below is the syllabus and the "Get to Know You" survey.
Due Week of 1/28: Fill out this worksheet about budgeting!
December: For December, we have an optional extra credit project to tighten things up! Take a look at the assignment below. This is due on the last day of class, no exceptions!
October: We are starting off this month with our Diet Projects! Find a diet that has well-documented health benefits, and try it out! Remember, you need a presentation, a journal, and a snack for the class! These presentations are going to take two weeks, so make sure you are ready to go on your designated day!
Due 10/4 or 10/11: Diet Presentation
Due 10/25: Turn in a hard copy paragraph about a drug. Include its name, nickname (if it has one), pros and cons of using the drug.
September: We are going to learn the basics of politics and the political spectrum!
Due 9/6: Find a politician that you like, and write 2 paragraphs about them. Must be submitted in hard copy.
Due 9/20: We've also been tracking our food - Here is the food journal for you to turn in!
Due 9/27: Find a diet you are interested in, and write me a paragraph, telling me about how it works, and how it interests you! Make sure it is a hard copy.
