Scholarship Committee Report

Ben Chase

NCACAA Scholarship Chair

All Agricultural Agents in NACAA are encouraged to apply for a scholarship through NACAA to be used for educational purposes.

NC Has sure has its share of scholarship winners. If you are chosen, you will reap far more than $40 you contributed.

So how do you get a NACAA Scholarship?

To do so Applicant or all group members have contributed $40 to NACAA Scholarship Fund BY THE LAST DAY OF THE PREVIOUS YEAR'S NACAA ANNUAL MEETING PRIOR to the year you are applying for a Scholarship. (This is a notable change dealing with due date of the $40 contribution. At the 2008 NACAA Annual meeting, it was voted on and approved to change the contribution date to the last day of the previous year's annual meeting. So any of you that contributed at the silent auction of through purchasing scholarship tickets last year in Greensboro would be eligible.

(Send the $40 check to me. With check (if necessary) made out to NACAA/Scholarship Foundation. To see the record of Donations You have made and/or Scholarships You have Received go to: http://www.nacaa.com/scholarship/ If one person within the group has not contributed $40 by that years deadline, it disqualifies the entire group)

Fill out Applications completely including (go to NACAA Awards and Recognition Information on the NACAA Web Site and click on Scholarship Application Form) Scholarship Applications are due to me by June 1. The application can be found on line at http://www.nacaa.com/awards/
