Professional Excellence Committee Report

The Professional Excellence Committee falls under the Program Recognition Councilof NACAA and NCACAA. The committee is responsible for providing members the opportunity to present posters and abstract papers at the NACAA Annual Meeting/Professional Improvement Conference. There are two categories: Applied Research and Educational Methods and Technologies. Historically there has not been a great number of entries in the program. In 2005 no entries were submitted from North Carolina. State committee chair, Greg Hoover, will serve as a judge for the Applied Research category at the 2005 AM/PIC in Buffalo, New York. Hoover hopes to learn more about the program which will enable him to better inform and education NCACAA membership about the program with the goal of increasing participation from North Carolina. Charles Phillips, Columbia County Georgia, serves as the Professional Excellence Committee Southern Regional Vice Chair.
