Career Development Events and Leadership Development Events are just around the corner! Here are some frequently asked questions and hopefully answers.

FFA members focus on skill development and career preparation through participation in Career Development Events and Leadership Development Events. These competitive events develop individual responsibility, foster teamwork and promote communication while recognizing the value of ethical competition and individual achievement. Successful members expand their knowledge base by interacting with peers, teachers, as well as business and community leaders to gain a complete and comprehensive knowledge about specific career and leadership areas.

FFA Dues for the 2018-19 school year are $30 per member which includes the chapter t-shirt for the member and the opportunity to participate in FFA activities all year long. Here is a break down on where the dues money goes (based on 60 FFA members):

• $7 goes to National FFA
• $6 goes to Missouri FFA
• $10 covers the cost of the t-shirt
• $2 goes to the Northeast District to help pay for related fees
• $2 goes to the Area 4 FFA Association
• $3 Pays for State FFA Convention Registration
