2024 Distinguished Unit! 

      The South Effingham NJROTC Program goes beyond the classroom and provides all students an opportunity to not only become involved in the school, but also become involved in the community.  

     The 2024-2025 Unit is 115 Cadets strong and is looking forward to maintaining it's standing as a Distinguished Unit for the 8th year in a row.  

     Last year the Cadets spent thousands of hours preparing for and competing in four different extracurricular activities which include Drill, Air Rifle (Marksmanship), Orienteering, and Academics.  The hard work and dedication paid off....

  Last year the Cadets brought home the State Level Area-12 Championship Trophies in Sporter Air Rifle and Academics (Brain Brawlers). The Drill Team finished 5th at the Athletic and Drill competition (Finished 1st in Drill Competitions)  and 6th in Orienteering. The Rifle team went on to fish 8th at the Navy National Match and the Academic Team 9th.. 

The Unit is poised to do even better this year!
