Elevator Flip Rate Adjustment (default 50%)
Starting with this version the elevator flip rate is no longer adjustable from transmitter. Adjustment must be done with this parameter. Flip rate = (0.2+0.7*Value)*250 degrees/sec. Flip rate can be displayed on slider but interface display value may need tuning.
Aileron Roll Rate Adjustment (default 50%)
Starting with this version the roIl rate is no longer adjustable from transmitter. Adjustment must be done with this parameter. Roll rate = (0.2+0.7*Value)*250 degrees/sec. Roll rate can be displayed on slider but interface display value may need tuning.
Elevator Travel Limit (default 70%)
Sets elevator travel limit. Setting method is calculated with 8 degrees + 8*Value. Increase this value as much as possible without mechanical binding to achieve optimal controllability. Generally setting 0.7 around 14 degrees on most helicopters without binding is the ideal value.
Aileron Travel Limit (default 70%)
Sets aileron travel limit. Setting method is calculated with 8 degrees + 8*Value. Increase this value as much as possible without mechanical binding to achieve optimal controllability. Generally setting 0.7 around 14 degrees on most helicopters without binding is the ideal value.
Collective Pitch Dampening (default 50)
Dampens the ascend/descend maneuvers. The higher the value, the smoother the stopping action during ascend or descends. Lower value translates to more direct feel. Recommend setting suitable dampening value to prevent oscillation effect during sudden stops.
Cyclic Pitch Dampening (default 50)
Aileron and elevator dampening. The more dampening value, the smoother the flight maneuvers. Opposite setting will result in more direct flight maneuvers. We recommend selling a suitable value to prevent oscillation during sudden stops.
Collective Pitch Acceleration (default 0)
Can increase collective pitch control speed. Proper setting of this parameter will result in more agile ascend and descend maneuvers, with increased power feel. But this selling will increase servo load. If setting beyond 50% the BEC may not sustain the burst power demand. Recommend using direct power source for the servos.
Cyclic Pitch Acceleration (default 0)
Activating simulated flybar can accelerate aileron and elevator control speed. Suitable setting value can provide smoother cyclic pitch control, but may also create slight acceleration during hover. Therefore is not recommended for beginners. Generally it can be set to 30 to 50%.
Flight Condition Control (default 40)
Newly added Flying Style adjustment. with range 0-100%. Different setting corresponds to different flying styles (control feel). The lower the percentage the more direct feel at the controls, resulting in more abrupt transition between maneuvers. The higher the percentage, the smoother the control feel, resulting in more smooth transition between maneuvers. Recommended starting value
is 50% and then adjust according to individual preference.
Swashplate Level Speed (default 50)
3GX system cyclic pitch will level during helicopter takeoff. The faster it levels out the easier it is to control during takeoff, but may affect fast forward flight tracking. If helicopter has minimal vibration we recommend to minimize this parameter value while keeping the helicopter able to take off. This will improve the fast forward flight characteristics.
Cyclic Pitch Exponential Setting (default 0)
Helicopter’s cyclic pitch exponential setting. range is 0 to 5. Larger value for higher center point dampening. If exponential function of the Tx is to be used, this value can be set to 0. A value of 2 is recommended and no Tx exponential.
Simulated Flybar Parameter (default 50 and "OFF")
SimuItes the feel of traditional flybar. A larger value simulate a heavy flybar paddIe.
Rudder Locking Gain Adjustment (default 70)
Higher value translates to straighter forward or backward flights. But too high of value will result in slow tail oscillation during hover.
Rudder Acceleration Adjustment (default 0)
Rudder acceleration mode will increase rudder startup speed and response. This mode is suitable for larger helicopters and will be disabled automatically while in small heli mode.
Anti Torque Compensation(default 20 / Normal)
Normal 3GX installation: 3GX label face top
Inverted 3GX installation: 3GX label face bottom
This is rudder gyro to main rotor anti-torque compensation The 3GX installation direction need to be specified. Should right rudder feels insufficient during flight, this value can be increased to achieve symmetrical feel. Warning: This setting is only for clockwise rotating rotor head
