My name is Leanne Berggrun and I joined the fourth grade team at FSS in February 2020. Before that I spent four and a half years teaching in West Springfield, Massachusetts. I have a master's degree in elementary education from Smith College, and a bachelor's degree from UMass Amherst.

I live with my husband, Cole, our two year old son, David, and our two pets- Sebastian the Newfoundland and Treble Clef the cat.

My hobbies include gardening a large collection of houseplants, playing Scrabble, traveling, and home renovations. My favorite color is green, and my favorite food is sushi.

I am Mrs. Gothie. This is my 17th year teaching. I have taught special education in many grade levels and mostly fourth grade as classroom teacher. On top of my teaching degree, I have a bachelor's degree in Psychology and a Master's degree in Special Education focusing on Moderate Disabilities.

In my free time I love to knit, hike and play with my dogs Riley and Gus. I have 2 sons, Alex and Greg. I also have 10 chickens and 2 parakeets. I have so many things that I enjoy! I have to say that being a teacher is one of my favorite things!

Hello! I am Jen Sigismondo, but my students call me Mrs. Sig. This is my 18th year teaching here at Florence Sawyer, and I have mostly taught 3rd and 4th grade. I have a master's degree in elementary education from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. I grew up in Shrewsbury, MA with my parents and younger brother. Now I live with my husband, Tony, and my baby girl, Olivia (1 year old in September).

In my free time, I enjoy taking Olivia on walks, working out, doing yoga, skiing, going on cruises, shopping, and eating anything chocolate!

This will be my 15th year teaching at FSS. I have taught 3rd grade, 4th grade, and 5th grade, but 4th grade is my favorite! Last year I was the Grade 4 Remote Learning Academy teacher for FSS and Center School in Stow. I am SO happy to be back in my room and teaching your children in person this year.

I live in Holden with my husband Matt and our two daughters, Charlotte (7 and going into 2nd grade) and Julia (5 and starting preschool). I graduated from UMass Amherst with a BA in English and minors in Psychology and Elementary Education. I received my MS in Elementary Education from Wheelock College in Boston.

In my free time I love to spend time with my family, go to the beach, garden and READ. Reading is my favorite! I was glad to have so much free time to read this summer, and I hope you did too.
