I've worked in Elementary Education for the last decade, both as a 1:1 Special Education Paraprofessional and as a Kindergarten teacher.
My teaching philosophy is rooted in Social Emotional Learning and creating a positive classroom community where all students can thrive.
I grew up in Penacook, moved around a bit, and now reside in Concord.
I am excited to be joining such a strong teaching team at PES starting in the 26/27 school year!

I have been teaching for the the past 16 years in various roles including preschool, kindergarten, and as a reading teacher. I was most recently a second grade teacher at Loudon Elementary in MVSD.
Educating the whole child is important to me and I believe in supporting every child's unique strengths and challenges with social emotional lessons, a learning environment of safety, and a building trust.
I love to read, talk about books, recommend books, join book clubs- basically everything that has to do with reading. I also love traveling and planning trips I will never actually go on. I spend lots of time playing and snuggling with my school-aged son and daughter, husband, dog Remy and cat Binx.
