Rules

Behavior

Students are required to be on their best behavior at all times. They should be prompt, prepared, polite, and properly attired (school dress code will be STRICTLY ENFORCED). Any student not in accordance with the classroom rules will be dealt with according to school policy (this can be found in the front of your student's agenda).

Late work will NOT be accepted. As this is a college-preparatory class, students will be responsible for their own work. If a student has an excused absence, they will have the same number of days to make up an assignment as they missed. Long term assignments will be due on the original due date, regardless of excused absences. There are two calendars in the classroom that list class work and homework that students are to refer to in the case of an excused absence.

Cheating and plagiarism will NOT be tolerated. Students found violating these policies will be given a zero for the assignment; they will not be given the opportunity to make up the assignment, and they will be referred to their Assistant Principal. In the case of copying, both students will receive the same penalty.
