MUSIC SCHOLARSHIP INFO!

UNIVERSITY OF MAINE - ORONO PERFORMING ARTS SCHOLARSHIP

The Visual and Performing Arts (VAPA) Scholarship deadline at the University of Maine is December 1st.

Practical implication: If your student would like to play or sing at the University of Maine, we can offer them $1,500.00 per semester for 8 consecutive semesters to do so (a total of $12,000.00 over 4 years). They do not need to be a music major, all they have to do is play or sing in one ensemble per semester. We can attach the Visual and Performing Arts scholarship to their financial packages on YOUR recommendation as long as their materials are all received at admissions by the deadline of December 1, 2019. They are not committing to UMaine at this point, but we need their applications to be complete so we may attach the scholarship to their application.

Note: This only applies to UMaine Orono, the Flagship institution of the UMaine system.
