Site Coordinator/Activity Staff

Kelley has been the Site Coordinator at the Skowhegan Area Middle School for 10 years and has been involved in the program for 11 years. She has worked for the district as an Ed. Tech for over 25 years. Kelley had coached Cross Country Running and Track and Field for 14 years. Family is very important to her, she has two grown children and one grand-daughter. She enjoys spending time with the students during and after school, giving them opportunities to show growth and leadership in their academics and every day life as well as seeing the connection between the students and the community. Kelley enjoys family time, camping, gardening, hunting, fishing, crafts and reading.

Activity Staff

This is Vanessa's second year with the After School Program. She brings great activity ideas and a passion for students to the program. Vanessa has been with MSAD/RSU 54 since 2008. She worked at Bloomfield Elementary until 2017 when she came to the Middle School Functional Life Skills Program. Vanessa and her husband have 3 sons and live in Skowhegan, where they own a small farm. She loves to spend time with the animals, it is very relaxing, she especially loves her goats! She enjoys camping and traveling.

Activity Staff

This is Scott's 18th year teaching at the Skowhegan Area Middle School. He has taught technology classes in the past and currently works as a math teacher in

the RTI wing at SAMS. He is the assistant Track and Field coach. While spending time with our After School Program he loves getting our students outside enjoying the outdoors be it in the woods hiking, geocaching, ropes course or snowshoeing, out on the field teaching the kids how to play rugby, speedball, lacrosse, or Australian kickball, or working with technology creating digital graphic arts, stop motion, or introducing them to computer programming.
