Outing Club Spring Activities
We have three great events planned for Spring. The budget freeze impacted our ability to get a bus for our western hills hikes. We have found some nice places to hike close to school. Students will be transported in the teachers’ cars following school board policy. We hope members can come to all three events, however we understand many members are very busy.
Event # 1 May 15th 2:33 - 4:15 Garden clean up + hike planning
Annual clean up of the front gardens at school. This year we will be using the compost we generated in the GMS cafe to enrich our plants and trees. After having fun working outside, we will come back inside and plan for our upcoming hikes!
No cost! Students will ride the 4:15 (late) bus or will need a ride home. Please bring a snack, work gloves, a sweatshirt and a water bottle.
