Leadership Award

Prairieland Conference Leadership Award

The conference will sponsor a leadership award to be awarded to one boy and one girl from each conference school. The awards will be given at the annual May meeting of the conference.

Criteria for the award will be as follows:

1. The building principal will select one boy and one girl.

2. The recipients must be 8^th grade students who are on the honor roll for three quarters and have a minimum of a B average (3.0 on a 4.0 system).

3. The recipients must be involved in at least three conference activities for the year. If a school does not have a recipient that participated in at least three conference activities, the principal may use his/her discretion to select a student based upon criteria that closely reflects the conference prerequisites.

4. The recipients must demonstrate a record of good conduct/citizenship.
