Thank you for a GREAT 2023-2024 Year!

Click HERE for the summer IXL family resources, if needed.  We will send home an updated list of IXL codes for each child in math and reading.  If your child finishes these, they know how to access the "diagnostic assessment" under the assessment tab to update their recommendations.  They can then work from the "learning tab" and work through "recommendations."  

Week of May 20th-23rd

Math: We will be looking back through the school year and reviewing material.  We are celebrating our Firstie's success and hard work by completing fun review activities and projects.

Reading: We will be reviewing skills and clebrating success!

Writing:  We will be working through a first grade memory book!

Music:  Lorimer and Peterson

Week of May 13th-17th

Math: We will be looking back through the school year and reviewing material.  We are celebrating our Firstie's success and hard work by completing fun review activities and projects.

Reading: We will be focusing on author's purpose and rereading to find text evidence.  Our phonics focus this week  is words with "air, are, ear."  Please be sure to practice spelling each night.  Don't forget to have your child read nightly!  Thank you for your support from home with this!  The next spelling test will be on Thursday, May 16th.

Writing:  We will be working through our research unit!

Science: We will be learning about the Spinning Earth.

Music:  Andersen
