Spelling: Each week we will focus on one specific spelling skill or strategy. Lists will be sent home on Fridays and the students will be tested over those words on the following Thursday.

Writer’s Workshop:

· Unit of Study - End of Year Writing

· Practicing - Digital Memory Books, Writing Letters to you Senior Self, Class Compliments

Reading:

• Skills and Strategies being taught - Poetic Devices, Author's Point of View

· Students are able to access McGraw Hill materials and assignments online through the My Portal website See directions on how to access past weekly assessment results here.

We have not have weekly assessment.

Social Studies:

· Unit of Study - Chapter 14 - The New Country

· Lessons - Forming the Constitution
