This is my 33rd year of teaching for Millard Public Schools. I have a Master's Degree in special education and taught as a Special Education teacher for 7 years; the rest of my time has been teaching third graders. I am beginning my 9th year as a Wheeler Wildcat. My goal is for students to be happy and successful learners. I strive to build classroom community and to give students the skills and role modeling needed to be life long learners. We have 2 boys, Sam and Charles. Sam has joined the work force with a degree in Cyber Security, and Charles is enrolled at UNO. We have an adorable Shih-Tzu/Westie dog named Dakota. MY passion and hope is that a cure is found for Alzheimer's disease. My heart is with the families and caregivers who have a loved one living with Alzheimer's. I enjoy traveling, the beach, time with family and friends, reading, and teaching writing.
