My name is Susan Schiltz. I teach Communication and Information Systems classes and 8th Grade Drama. This is my 19th year at Beadle Middle School. Go Bulldogs! This is also my 30th year as an educator.

I love technology and love to learn new things. I am always learning from my students.  They keep me up-do-date on the latest and greatest when it comes to technology.

I am married and have 4 children. I also have an adorable six year old granddaughter.

I love to travel. This summer my husband and three of children spent 8 days in Latvia. My parents both emigrated from Latvia. We enjoyed visiting several towns and historical sites. The highlight was celebrating Ligo with relatives out in the countryside. All of us stayed up until sunrise (4:30 a.m.)

I enjoy walking and playing Pokémon Go. I also play Wordle and Spelling Bee. Word games keep my brain sharp.
