Middle School Math 2
The big theme of this course is proportionality. Students need to be able to work fluently with ratios, rates, scale factors and proportions. Proportional relationships will be represented using tables, equations, graphs and with verbal descriptions in this course. Students will calculate with positive and negative rational numbers to solve problems in a variety of contexts, including probability, geometry and algebra.
