Hello! My name is Chris Olson and I am the technology integration specialist at Mosinee Elementary . I graduated in 1998 from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire with a Bachelor of Science degree in elementary education. I am also certified to teach Spanish in grades 1 through 9. I was a classroom teacher for 17 years in our school, teaching both first and second grade. Although I taught first grade for most of this time, I was a looping teacher for 6 years, following my first-grade students as they progressed to second grade. I have also been a technology coach in our district since 2009, assisting staff in increasing their technology proficiency and incorporating various technology resources into their classroom lessons and daily instruction. Starting in the fall of 2016, I became our school's first technology integration specialist, teaching students technology skills and applications as well as assisting in bringing these skills back into the regular classroom. I am excited to guide our young students as they learn and explore the world of technology and what it has to offer.
