Welcome to Mrs. G's Website

Hello!  My name is Erin Gillespie.  This year, I will be serving as a case manager for special education students in grades 10 - 12.  I will also assist with behind-the-wheel instruction for students wishing to obtain their driver's license as I am licensed in driver education.  

This is my 25th year teaching and 11th year at Morris Area Schools.  Before teaching in Morris, I taught at Milaca Public Schools and Wheaton Area Schools.  I obtained my Bachelor's Degree from Minnesota State University Moorhead.  I hold a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from the University of St. Thomas.  I possess several teaching and administrative licenses in different fields.    

My family and I live in the country.  My husband is a farmer and auctioneer.  We have two children.

Google Classroom

E-Learning Days/Snow Days

In an event of a snow day and school is canceled, the district will utilize up to five e-learning days for the 2023-2024 school year where students work at home during the day and the day will count as a school day.  

Students in my room will be asked to log on to my google classroom page to complete the daily assignment.   Please note each student will be required to complete work assigned by every teacher of every class they are in during the school day. 

Students who have a class in the resource room with Mrs. Gillespie will find assignments on their respective class Google classroom page from her.  Students know how to access this page and find coursework.  Parents, if you want to access this platform, please let me know.  

If you or your child has any questions or concerns about e-learning assignments, please send me an e-mail or call me and leave a message 585-2149.  I am available and ready to help on these days and will get back to you as quickly.
