Hello! My name is Erin Gillespie. This year, I will serve as a case manager for special education students in grades 9 - 12. I am also licensed in driver education and will assist students who wish to obtain their driver's license with behind-the-wheel instruction.
This is my 28th year teaching and 14th year at Morris Area Schools. Before teaching in Morris, I taught at Milaca Public Schools and Wheaton Area Schools. I obtained my Bachelor's Degree from Minnesota State University, Moorhead, and a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from the University of St. Thomas. I possess several teaching and administrative licenses in different fields.
My family and I live in the country. My husband is a farmer and auctioneer. We have two children.

Google Classroom
E-Learning Days/Snow Days
In the event of inclement weather and school is canceled, the district will utilize up to five e-learning days for the 2026-2027 school year. On these days, students work from home during the day, and the day will be counted as a school day.
Students in study skills classes will receive an e-mail from me with instructions for the day's assignments.
Students in my core classes will be asked to log in to my Google Classroom to complete the daily assignment. Students know how to access this page and find coursework. Please note that each student is required to complete work assigned by every class teacher during the school day.
Parents, please let me know if you want access to Google Classroom.
