I have been teaching for 20 plus years . . . and still LOVE my job!! I feel super lucky to have my "dream job" and to be able to work for the Morris School District! Since getting my elementary teaching degree I have taught preschool, first grade, and fourth through sixth grades. I received my Masters in Education from University of Minnesota Duluth with an emphasis in technology in the classroom.

Believe it or not, Taco Johns is what brought me to Morris in 1987. I was the manager of that store for several years before going to school at UMM to become a teacher. My husband and I, along with our son and 2 dogs, enjoy spending time outside . . . gardening, fishing, and relaxing by the campfire. We enjoy canning, wine making, and look forward to our new adventure in bee keeping.:) (Actually I am a little nervous about the bee keeping, but always look forward to learning new things!) I already learned that a "hive" does not consist of 50 bees (That was my educated guess.), but in fact is made up of 10 to 12 THOUSAND bees!!
