The curriculum used is “Comprehensive Health Skills for High School.” This course provides student-focused learning with an emphasis on developing life and decision making skills to be carried over into a lifetime of healthy living. Major units covered include, but are not limited to: nutrition, physical fitness, stress management, self-care, mental and emotional health, communicable and noncommunicable diseases, environmental health, responsible decision making concerning tobacco, vaping, alcohol & drug use, and responsible decision making concerning sexual, family, and current health issues.
