Education and Teaching History

I feel fortunate to be living my passion as a teacher. As early as I can remember I dreamed to be a teacher. My love to inspire my students to learn and grow. I was raised in Montevideo, and Ramsey Elementary was my first school. After graduating from Montevideo High School, I attended SMSU in Marshall and earned my degree in elementary education with a specialty in mathematics. I continued my education and graduated from SMSU and earned my Master's Degree in Educational Leadership in 2018. I am proud to consider myself a life-long learner, a trait I wish to pass on to my students.

I started my teaching in 2009 as a kindergarten teacher in Clarkfield and taught there for 4 years before coming to Montevideo in 2013. Through my teaching years, I have taught preschool, kindergarten, 2nd grade and 4th grade. I have loved them all, but feel lucky to get to teach such great students in 2nd grade!
