We have school on Monday and Tuesday. School resumes on Jan. 5. Enjoy the break and encourage your child to read!
Please have your child read for 20-30 minutes per night. Your child needs to have 35 AR points by the end of the second quarter which is Jan. 16. Today, your child should be at 74% of their AR goal. You are allowed to test from home, too. Here is the site:

We are done for spelling until we get back from Christmas break!
We will resume multiplication facts after Christmas break!
We are finishing up our unit on Ancient Rome today.
Update: We have 21 board games! Please send the games on Monday if you haven’t done so! Thank you for your generosity.
We have library on Monday and Wednesday at 10:25 A.M.
The temperature in the classroom fluctuates and can be very cold and warm. I would recommend sending a sweatshirt to school everyday for your child.
We will have gym and music everyday. Please make sure your child has appropriate shoes.
The best way to get a hold of me is by email at kklaassen@montevideoschools.org. I don’t look at planners until the end of the day, so I may accidentally miss a message.
