I. SERVICES TO STUDENTS

a. Individual and small group counseling

b. Social and emotional learning

c. Connect students and families to school-community based programs and organizations when appropriate

d. New student orientation

e. Student scheduling

f. Academic and career planning

g. School transition

II. SERVICES TO TEACHING STAFF

a. Assist teachers with individual student concerns (behavioral, emotional, achievement, placement, etc.)

b. Coordinate new student transition.

c. Participate in IEP/ 504 team meetings

d. Consult with students/staff regarding academic, social, and emotional progress

III. SERVICES TO PARENTS/ FAMILIES

a. Evaluation and reports on progress of students and permanent record information

b. Assistance during crisis situations.

c. Assistance with school/ home/community concerns (intervention/referral)

d. Communication with parents/community regarding programs and special projects

e. Academic and career planning

IV. SERVICES TO COMMUNITY

a. Resource person to local community organizations and groups.

b. Promote school/community partnership.

c. Provide information to the community regarding counseling services.

d. Referral to appropriate community based organizations and services in order to provide the best comprehensive support for a student/family.
