Massachusetts residents over 13 are eligible to apply for a BPL eCard, which will allow you to access many online resources that our school does not offer. This page will provide information about some of them. For the full list, visit the A-Z Resources page on the BPL website.

Movies, TV shows, music, eBooks, and comics for online streaming or download to mobile devices, with no waiting lists. 10 items per month.

With biblio+, library card holders have unlimited access to an ad-free catalog of movies, TV shows, and documentaries on many devices.

Kanopy includes acclaimed movies and documentaries on-demand from award-winning filmmakers. Each month BPL patrons receive 18 tickets.

Enjoy unlimited access to thousands of digital comics, graphic novels, and manga without holds, wait lists, or monthly limits.

Magazines & Newspapers

Read thousands of full color reproductions of  U.S. and international magazines and newspapers from the last three months on your computer or on the APP.


Read current issues of popular magazines on your computer, tablet or smartphone.

AP Newsroom

Searchable Associated Press content, including 4.6 million photographs (1826-present) as well as graphics, audio (1920-present), and articles (1997-present).


Research


Full-text articles from hundreds of scholarly journals from the mid-19th century to the early 21st century covering a wide range of subjects, including complete runs of many historical journals. The most recent 3-5 years of current journals are not available in full-text.
