Anke Leroux

Welcome to my homepage!

I am an environmental and natural resource economist and particularly interested in problems of optimal natural resource use and conservation under conditions of risk, uncertainty and irreversibility. I have applied my research on climate change adaptation to inform policy in the areas of optimal land use, biodiversity conservation, invasive species, salt marsh conservation and water management.

I obtained my PhD from the University of Cambridge, where I was a Gates Scholar. Currently, I am a Senior Lecturer (Assistant Professor) at the Department of Economics at Monash University, Melbourne, Australia.
