Career Exploration Internship Program 1 credit

CEIP is a one-year, non-paid, 108-hour internship. It is a link between school and careers involving the education of children. Students are placed with a classroom teacher in Bradt Primary School, Pinewood Elementary School, or Draper Middle School. Students will experience all aspects of the teaching profession. They will be able to improve their teamwork, leadership, and human relation skills. Students will fill out timesheets, journals, and work on related activities, such as a resume, mock interview and portfolio project. .The internship is scheduled during the school day. In addition students must complete 54 hours of classroom instruction related to the internship.
