About Assignments:

• Lessons and assignments for this class will include the assigned textbook, workbook, Qur’an, and other resources at the discretion of the teacher, including web based assignments. 

• Every 3rd lesson, students will present an uploaded video of the lessons learned, a quiz or project.  This is a project based class.

• Assignments should have proper heading, including Bismillah. Omittance of proper heading will reduce grade 10-25 points.

• When doing work from a textbook, please include page number and title of the lesson. 

• This is a class where students have several projects that will demonstrate mastery of lessons. Projects will have a rubric that should be followed closely.

Attendance:

• We take pride in the expectation of all students being at school, on time and in proper uniform. 

• Attendance is taken daily. 

In compliance with the school’s handbook, students with excessive tardiness (7 or more per quarter) will receive a drop in a grade by one letter. Students with five or more absences in a quarter will receive a drop in a grade by one letter.   

Classroom Expectations:

Being in proper uniform is a wonderful mandate in our class.  Any student out of uniform will receive a uniform infraction. 

Conferencing with the Teacher

Scheduled Parents, Students Teacher Conference are welcomed Monday & Thursday   with the exception of the last Thursday of the month  3:30-4:30  Zoom or face 2 face 15 minutes per family.   Please contact the office in the event you are not able to make your appointment within 2 hrs prior to your scheduled time.  Please be considerate of my time and other parents.  No drop-in appointments during class time without prior scheduling or permission.
