Adobe Reader- this is a great app for annotation; docs can be saved to the acrobat.com account.
Evernote- keep your notes organized and with you at all times! Upload pictures, links, and with text recognition, if there's any writing in the pictures, it become searchable once syncing has occurred!
Socrative Student- a favorite interactive app that allows for formative assessments and interactive content.
Skitch- this is an Evernote companion app that allows you to create graphic organizers, mindmaps, thinkingmaps and import directly into Evernote.
Educreations- great whiteboard app that allows you to record work, import pictures for annotation; you can directly upload videos to YouTube
Thinglink- this is a great web app that allows you or students to create an interactive display of related content. Great for a new take on presentation software.
IPEVO Whiteboard- with your iPad, you have a cordless document camera! This is a great app that adds even more functionality to that task.
Nearpod- great presentation app that provides a way for teachers to present material to students in an interactive manner. Integrate formative assessments and other interactive activities directly into your presentation.
Popplet Lite- this is a great tool for developing thinking maps/graphic organizers to help students visualize learning and organize content.
- can't take field trips anymore? No problem with Google Earth! Create a Google Earth tour of the events of a novel, explore different areas, cultures, events around the world.

Whiteboard- this is a whiteboard app that allows students to connect devices to collaborate on the same whiteboard. This content is easy for projecting to allow the entire class to view.

Google Drive- love this app and it's getting better all the time! Create new documents, spreadsheets, shoot video, take pictures, edit, make comments, share, and get links all in this one app! Now...if they'll just add Presentations, we'd be set!
Google Mail- check your Gmail on this app. You can also add multiple Gmail accounts within the app.
Chirp- Need to send someone or an entire class a link to a website? Chirp it out and in minutes, everyone is on! This is a student favorite!
Google Chrome- the good thing about this app is the ability to sign in and have all of your bookmarks, Google Apps, and tabs open across devices.
