Evidence-based methods

KATERINA AVRAMIDES is from London Knowledge Lab and involved in projects developing learner-centred technology for teenagers and supporting teachers in assessing student learning through evidence-based methods. Her research is interdisciplinary, situated between Psychology, Education, Human Computer Interaction, and Artificial Intelligence. She’s primarily interested in the design and development of learning experiences to support understanding of socio-scientific issues, including the application of existing and design of new technological tools. Her research into the learning process has focused on the areas of epistemic cognition and metacognition, affect and motivation, and social communication.
