Do Nows MP 1
Students will have a Do Now quiz once every two weeks. They will be tested on the concepts/questions asked in the do now questions asked in those two weeks. You can find the do now questions posted on my webpage. Check with Ms. Kapoor during LEHP for the answers.
Students will be asked questions similar to the ones discussed in the do now's. The quiz will be based on the understanding of the do now, not on the rote memorization of the answers.
Wednesday, Sept 13th
Do Now: Write down the name(s) of the equipment that you would use for the following tasks.
11. You want to measure 1 ml of water.
2.2. You want to measure 5 g of powdered salt.
3.3. You want to measure 200 ml of water and heat it.
4.4. Pick up a small piece of gravel.
Tuesday, Sept 15th
Do Now: 1. When should safety goggles be worn in the lab?
2. In the lab, what should be done with hair that is longer than shoulder length?
3. Describe how you would test the odor of any chemical in the lab?
Monday, Sept 14th
Do Now: Write down the names of three safety equipment you see in your science lab?
When are these safety equipment needed in the science lab?
