Congratulations!  You have completed all the tasks that are outlined in 'The Digest' portion of the Justinian Code.  As a result, you are now licensed to practice law here in the Byzantine Empire.

There are a countless number of citizens who need you to review their cases and determine what The Code says about their particular case.

Today you will be handed a series of cases to review.  You will need to use the excerpts provided to you on this site under 'The Code' to determine if a law has been broken in their case.  Read carefully!

Case files will be provided to you and are differentiated based on the difficulty of the case.  Feel free to complete a mix of cases based on their difficulty but those of you who know you are strong readers should challenge yourself to some of the tougher cases to crack.  

Once you think you have determined the legal advice you should give to your client, you will need to fill out the case form provided on this website.

You will fill out a case form for each and every case you look at today.  These forms will determine your grade for this activity.
