PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that proposals will be received by the Middletown Housing Authority (Authority), in the County of Monmouth, State of New Jersey, at the Executive Office of the Authority, located at 2 Oakdale Drive, Middletown, NJ, 07748 by 11:00 am on Wednesday, December 3, 2025 prevailing time for the purpose of establishing a two-year service contract with a qualified, licensed Pest Control Contractor to perform monthly and as needed pest control services for roaches or other pests as well as as-needed bed bug exterminations in a reliable and timely manner. The Authority reserves the right to waive any informalities in proposals and to reject any and all proposals if it is in the best interest of the Authority to do so. The Request for Proposals (RFP) must be requested by emailing Phyll Ceglie, Deputy Director at pceglie@mhanj.net.
Bidders must be authorized to do business in New Jersey. Any Bidder, which is a corporation not chartered under the laws of the State of New Jersey, must submit an affidavit certifying that said corporation is authorized to do business in the State of New Jersey. Minimum experience of 5 years of successful completion of similar work is required.
Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of Public Law 1975, c.127 which pertains to "Non-Discrimination" and "Affirmative Actions", and Public Law 1977, c.33, which requires a Statement of Corporate Ownership.

The Housing Authority of the Township of Middletown (“Housing Authority”), located at 2 Oakdale Drive, Middletown, New Jersey 07748, is accepting proposals for Professional Architectural and Engineering Services until December 30, 2025, at 11:00 AM.
The Request for Proposals can be obtained via electronic mail to Phyll Ceglie, pceglie@mhanj.net.
All proposals shall be submitted in a sealed envelope, labeled “Proposal for Professional Architectural and Engineering Services” and including the respondent’s company name and return address. Respondents must ensure that their proposal is received at the address and by the deadline specified above. Proposals received after the deadline for any reason shall not be considered and will be returned to the sender.
All responses submitted are subject to these instructions and to the Instructions to Offerors, Non-Construction form HUD-5369-B. The failure to abide by these instructions in any way, including but not limited to the failure to submit all required documentation, may lead to the proposal being rejected as non-responsive.
The Housing Authority reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and/or to waive any informality in the responses. No proposals may be withdrawn within sixty (60) days after the submission deadline.
In accordance with the criteria included in the RFP, the contract(s) shall be awarded to the respondent(s) who submit the proposal(s) most advantageous to the Housing Authority, cost and other factors considered. The successful respondent(s) will be required to execute the Housing Authority’s contract(s) within seven (7) days of receiving the notice of award.
This RFP is being issued pursuant to a fair and open process in accordance with N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20.4 et seq.
