About Mrs. Olguin
Marisa Olguin, M.Ed.
My name is Mrs. Marisa Olguin, and I love teaching!
This is my 11th year here with MGSD, and I think this is a fabulous place to be. Here in Mooresville, at RRES, I have been a reading tutor, have taught kindergarten, first grade, and second grade.
I am a graduate of The College of William and Mary in Virginia, and California State University Long Beach. I studied elementary education, with an emphasis in early childhood development. I live in Davidson, with my husband, John, and my dog Zoey. We have adult children, Hannah and Zachary.
I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, reading, doing outdoorsy things, learning (especially about nature, trees, birds, and flowers), live music, and working with children.
