    This will be my third year at MIS and this year I will be headed to 4th grade...again! I am so excited to be starting another great year! 

    I was born and raised in New Jersey, where my husband Jonathan and I met in high school.  In January of 2007 we relocated here to Mooresville. Jon is a Facility Manager at a warehouse in Charlotte. We have 2 wonderful boys. Chase, who attends  MHS (10th grade). He loves playing baseball, wrestling and video games. Bryce, who attends 4th grade here at MIS. He enjoys playing lacrosse and making people laugh. As a family we enjoy watching sports and racing of all kinds. 

    My degree is from Caldwell College (Caldwell University now) in Elementary Education/Psychology. I have been teaching since 2002. Over the years I have taught 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th. As a child I always wanted to be a teacher.

~ We have a dog named Tank, he is an English Bulldog. 

~I have a younger sister, Cady who is a 5th grade teacher in NJ and a volunteer fire fighter.

~My father is a volunteer fire fighter in NJ. 

~I don't like cucumbers! Yuck!
