About me

Hello! My name is Carol Elliott. I have lived in North Carolina my whole life. I earned my bachelors degree from Wingate University. This is my 28th year of teaching. I taught kindergarten prior to teaching third grade.

Teaching brings me so much joy. I love watching kids discover new things and shaping their young minds to believe in themselves and share in a lifelong love for learning. My hobbies include outdoor activities such as riding four wheelers and playing sports. My favorite place to be is the beach.

I am married to my husband Shawn and we have one daughter who is currently attending UNCW.

I am Patricia Kennaday and I am excited to be a part of third grade this year!

I am originally from Florida and received my Bachelor's Degree from University of Florida. (GO GATORS >*^,^^~~~ ) I have 2 children, Sean and Emma, who have spent their educational careers in MGSD and graduated from MHS.

I am beginning my 15th year with MGSD. Most recently, I worked with students K-6 in Mooresville Online Academy. Prior to that, I worked at RRES, SES and EMIS.

I look forward to working with all our Racers.
