Nomination & Selection Process
Nomination Process
Candidates may be nominated at any time during the year.
A nomination form can be submitted online or printed and returned Printable Copy to Mooresville Athletics
In order for a candidate to be nominated, the entire form must be completely filled out.
The deadline for nominations is May 31, 2024.
Please send all applications to MHS Athletics at Mooresville High School (659 East Center Ave., Mooresville, NC 28115).
Selection Process
The selection committee meets every fall prior to the induction year. All nominated candidates are discussed and voted on:
Selection for induction into the Hall of Fame is based solely on the nominees contributions/resume as a member of the Mooresville HS athletic department as a player or coach.
If a candidate receives five votes, they will be inducted the following year (usually in the spring). The nominator and the inductee will each receive letters in December providing information about the induction ceremonies.
All nominees for induction will be automatically reviewed and voted on the following year.
Selection Committee
The Hall of Fame selection committee currently consists of the following five (5) individuals:
Current MHS Administrator
Current MHS Coach
Member of the MHS Athletic Hall of Fame
Member of the MHS Athletic Booster Club
Mooresville Community Member
The MHS Athletic Director is a non-voting member of the committee.
