About Mrs. Luffman

I moved to Mooresville in 1982. I graduated from Mooresville Senior High. After high school, I went to school and earned my cosmetology license. I began working for MGSD in 1998 as a tutor. In this position, I realized my love for working with children. I went back to college and earned my Bachelor‘s Degree in K-6 Elementary Education from Gardner-Webb University. I have recently graduated from Gardner-Webb University with my Master's degree in Educational Executive Leadership. I love, love, love working at MIS. For the 17-18 school year, I went back to 5th grade. I loved my 5th grade students and we had a blast, but I am returning to 6th grade for the 18-19 school year. I am so excited to see some of my former students again this upcoming school year! I cherish the opportunity and time to really get to know my new students and build strong relationships with them and their families.

I have been married to my husband, Keith, for 33 years. We have three wonderful boys: Brian, who is 30, Brandon, who is 28, and Bryson, who is 25. I also have 2 amazing daughter-in-laws, Kaitlin Luffman and Becca Luffman. I am so excited that I became a grandma this year to 2 precious little girls. Miss Reagan was born in December of 2016 and Miss Emerson was born in August of 2017. Mr. Luffman and I are over the moon in love with our little angels!
