About the Teacher

Welcome to Room 113!

My name is Sue Laidlaw and I teach Second Grade here at Burke-Memorial School. I live in Medway with my husband Rick, (a.k.a. “Mr. Laidlaw”), and our two college aged sons. When I am not teaching I love to spend time with my family, read books, travel, and visit family and friends.    

A brief background about my teaching and work experience…

I attended Stonehill College and then earned my Master's Degree at Wheelock College.  Before working in Medway, I worked in elementary schools in Malden and North Andover.  I have taught both first and second grade here in Medway for the past 22 years.

If there is an emergency or you have any last minute changes with daily routine etc. please contact the school directly as I will not be able to check my email frequently throughout the day.
