LIBRARY POLICIES AND PROCEDURES

Welcome to the library! There are two ways you may use the library – with your class when your teachers schedule time or during your study halls (you MUST check in with your assigned study hall teacher and have a pass). Any time you are in the library, please follow the library rules.

Book and Material Borrowing Policies:

You may borrow items for a period of three weeks. You may renew your items if you need them longer. 

General Procedures:

• All school rules apply in the library, including use of phones (off and away) and other electronics.

• To visit the library, students should have a pass. 

• Materials must be signed out with Mrs. Doyle or the library paraprofessional at the circulation desk. If you use something, please return it to the circulation desk. 

• Keep noise level low. Please enter the library quietly and respectfully as other students are working. 

Please note: Misusing library resources, breaking rules, or being disrespectful can result in a loss of library privileges.
