Magic: the Gathering Club Information

Magic the Gathering is not a club that teaches magic tricks. It is a trading card game much like Pokemon and Yu-gi-oh. We meet on Mondays until 5:15. If you would like more information, just contact me or Mr. Allen. Click here for my contact information.

You must meet the following requirements below to be accepted into the Magic: that Gathering Club.


  • You must make Honor Roll on your report card. This means you must make all A's and B's. You are automatically removed from the club if you do not meet this requirement. You will be accepted back into the club when you make Honor Roll on a subsequent report card.


  • You may only have one discipline referral. You will be removed from the club if you receive two discipline slips while you are a member of the club. After receiving the first discipline slip while you are a club member, you will be suspended for two meetings. After the suspension, you may resume club activities.


  • You must fill out and turn in a drug screening form. I have copies of the form.


  • You must read all of the information on this page, including the website link and the quick start guide. After reading all of the information on this page, fill out the MTG club essay located at the bottom of this page. Turn it in to either Mr. Allen or me. After reading the essay, Mr. Allen and I will discuss your response and let you know if you are accepted into the club.

NOTE: Attendance is NOT a requirement. You will not be removed from the club due to absences. You may miss as many days as you like and still participate in club activities. Many students play sports and are unable to attend during their sports season. We understand that middle school students have busy lives and that's a good thing! Come when you can.

Also, you may join the club at anytime during the year. As long you meet all of the requirements, then you are eligible and may be considered for membership.
