Memorial Scholarship

The Maumee Athletic Boosters Memorial Scholarship has been established to honor the memory of multiple Panther volunteers that dedicated their time to support the Maumee Athletic Boosters. MAB Volunteers sponsored and conducted fundraising projects, programs, and planned and participated in community projects that benefitted student athletes and their families. These Booster volunteers have helped to establish the Panther Den, attend monthly meetings, and support athletic contests and events and encourage student participation in athletics and related athletic program events. These volunteers have provided a high level of passion, commitment, and spirit to Maumee sports that was unrivaled.

The Maumee Boosters strives to award a $500 scholarship to one senior who demonstrates the level of school spirit, passion and commitment that would make those past volunteers proud.

To be considered for this scholarship, a graduating senior must submit the following:

▪ Completed application form

▪ Completed activity form

▪ Essay of 500 words or less reacting to the following question:

▪ What does school spirit mean to you? 

▪ Two letters of recommendation from any of the following: a Maumee teacher, coach, or administrator.

                Please give your chosen recommenders the request sheet included in this packet at least two weeks in advance of the due date.

                Recommenders may turn their letters in to the Maumee Guidance Department.

        ▪ Two letters of recommendation from two underclassmen who can express the level of school spirit exhibited by the applicant in 300 words or                         less.

        ▪ Grade Point Average of 3.0 or higher
