Question of the Week: What do living things do in the winter?

Weather- what it is like outside, determined by the conditions such as rain, sunshine, clouds, and wind
Daylight- the light during the day
Temperature- how hot or cold something is
Language: We will be working on commas in dates and sentences. We will have a graded worksheet on Thursday. We will be working on writing and have a graded writing prompt on Friday.
Math: I recommend doing addition flashcards to help with memorization.

Reading Information for this week: This will be a review week. We will have a Sight Word Review Test on Friday. I will put a list of the Sight Words in the binders. Next week (March 23rd), we will begin our last reading unit. In order to prepare for next year I will not be reading the Sight Word page of the test. They will have to read that page on their own.

Valentines’ Day Notes:
We have 18 kids in our class.
When filling out cards leave who it is to blank. Only sign who it is from.
Your student is welcome to bring in a Valentine box or bag. Please make sure it is big enough to hold larger Valentines like bags of treats.
You are welcome to volunteer for the party.
Please do not send “Special Valentines” or additional Valentine gifts to just one student or group of students. All of the students should receive the same types of Valentines..
