TIPS for a SUCCESSFUL SEASON
Practices will be held at Yellow Jackets in Middleton on Tuesday from 2:45-4:15 pm & Friday 2:45-4:15 pm. *Athletes are NOT allowed to skip a high school practice in order to attend a club practice or meet. –This is the Bona fide Team Rule
Home meets: Homes meets will be at Yellow Jackets in Middleton on Fridays, Saturdays and/or Sundays. Please have your daughters or sons at YJ 30 minutes prior to warm-up time. *Athletes are NOT allowed to skip a high school competition to attend a club meet or practice.
Attendance: Your child must be present and on time to school in order to practice/compete. An athlete must be present in school the Friday before a Saturday or Sunday meet.
Away Meets: Please have your daughter or son to the bus 5-10 minutes prior to departure time. We are excited to have a Masco cheering session and to have your support at these away meets. However, please stay in the stands until the meet commences. Most judges will take a team deduction if you come onto the competitive floor.
The Team Sectional Competition is during February Vacation. All athletes must be present at the practices during February vacation in order to compete at Sectionals.
The coaching staff, for the benefit of the team as a whole, chooses the competition roster. We factor in the ability level, start value / scoring ability, work ethic, MIAA rules, and dedication of the athlete. If your daughter or son would like to compete this season, she/he needs to talk to the Head Coach about their intentions.
The team competition roster for each meet may change. Changes are implemented for the benefit of the team. If your daughter/son has a question regarding the changes, she/he should approach the coaching staff.
If we have an Individual State Qualifier(s), we urge their teammates to come and support them.
