Martinez Junior High - Auditorium Audio Visual Project

MJHS Auditorium AV

The auditorium at Martinez Junior High is housed in the original main building of the campus. This historic building is over 85 years old and the auditorium has the largest seating capacity of any room in the District, which makes it a popular rental space for outside organizations as well as school productions. The audio visual project was approved as part of the Measure K Phase 2. Great care was taken to upgrade the audio visual technology while not disturbing the historic qualities of the room.

Premier Media Integration, Inc installed a mounted projector in the ceiling and a remote controlled, 9'x16' mounted projection screen over the stage. A new sound system was also installed with speakers over the top and on either side of the stage. These upgrades will improve the production quality of stage performances as well as multi media presentations for large scale gatherings like parent nights. This is also the perfect place for the school to offer indoor movies for students during lunch on rainy days!
