PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
In the course of the Master Facilities Plan process, all District facilities were evaluated and recommendations were presented in the full report which can be found on the MUSD website. John Muir Elementary was identified as the first project and the school with the greatest need of replacement. Once the John Muir Elementary project was underway the MUSD Bond Team began meeting with advisory groups from the other three elementary schools. Through the process of these advisory group meetings, Las Juntas Elementary was identified as the second project to begin under the Measure R bond program.
