All students are required to have a graphing calculator acceptable for use on the ACT.

Student assignment schedule can be found here. The majority of assignments will be assigned, collected, and graded through an online system called WebAssign.

I have found that the immediate feedback that WebAssign provides benefits students. Students are able to see immediately if got a problem correct and move on with confidence. If they are incorrect, then they know to try again or seek assistance. I believe multiple attempts fosters perseverance in students. The program also helps me to see where students are struggling and help them more specifically and sooner.

You should have the option to purchase the WebAssign Access (required for this course) for $21.50 OR you may choose to purchase the WebAssign Access in combination with an electronic copy of the textbook for $35.00. This is typically less than the cost of purchasing a used book. However, it is your choice. Some students need to have the physical textbook, and some do not. Please consider your options carefully and make the correct choice for you.
